The Toy Library, run by Springvale Service For Children, offers a playful solution to sustainability and reducing waste.

The organisation was recently recognised with a 2023-24 Volunteer Grant.

The Toy Library – which loans out toys to local children and their families, offers a wide variety of toys, while also saving costs and reducing waste – is possible due to its volunteers, who source, clean, maintain and loan out the toys.

According to Team Leader Tofu: ‘As the Team Leader of Support Services, I'm privileged to oversee programs that enrich our community one being the Toy Library at Springvale Service for Children, which embodies our commitment to fostering our families and inclusion.
